wikiDOMO is an online community guide where the content is controlled entirely by the users of the site (hence the wiki in the name).
Having been up and running for over a year in alpha mode, the people behind wikiDOMO were ready to launch several new features—including a very cool “Community Talk” feature, where people could discuss, check-in to or rate anything in any community. Along with these changes, it was time to radically update the site’s visual interface, as well as figure out visual designs for the new features.
Working directly with wikiDOMO’s leadership and their brilliant lead developer, my role was to transform the visual design and implement all of the front-end coding (this means html and css).
The result is a fresh design, intended to make this ‘content-heavy’ site easy to read, and simple to use.
